Russia, municipal deputies against Putin: “Resign, it’s harmful”

MOSCA – Sometimes an “A” is enough. On 7 September, a motion signed by seven municipal deputies out of 10, in the Smolninskoe district of St. Petersburg, also the birthplace of the Russian president, invited the Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, to try Vladimir Putin on charges of treason for having launched the offensive in Ukraine.
