Independiente Santa Fe and Patriotas de Boyacá faced each other at the El Campín stadium, in a vital commitment for both teams where both would go out to seek the three points and establish themselves in the standings.

Prior to this match, the cardinal team had just lost 3-1 against Millonarios in the capital classic. While those led by Harold Rivera obtained an important victory against Junior in the city of Tunja.

In this way, Pablo Peirano’s team established itself at the top of the standings with 27 points, being almost close to the home run classification. While those led by Harold Rivera are last with 11 units.

Now Santa Fe will rest next week, since it brought forward its match on date 15 against Millonarios, and now its next rival will be Atlético Nacional on date 16. While on the visitors’ side, they will play against Alianza FC as a home team.
