São Paulo returns to the top of the group with victory in Brasília – Julio Cesar Silva/Ag. Paulistão

O São Paulo won again in Paulista championship and now they are guaranteeing themselves in the next phase of the competition with partial leadership of the group. Tricolor traveled to Brasília, at Mané Garrincha, to face the Inter de Limeira and made it 3-0 in the final score, breaking the negative streak of four games and also helping rival Corinthians, who still have chances of qualifying.

São Paulo fans were present in the Mané Garrincha stands, even with Inter de Limeira in charge. However, the first scare was the team from the interior, stamping the ball on goalkeeper Rafael’s crossbar. Subsequently, Leão wasted good opportunities with Quirino – which were missed.

Tricolor only responded in stoppage time, but with great efficiency. In partnership with Lucas in the plot, Ferreirinha passed goalkeeper Max and completed the goal. The partial result seemed to take the pressure off São Paulo, which came back better for the final stage.
