The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has again opened the 2024 Eid Homecoming Free Program. This program provides free facilities for transportation for the 2024 Eid homecoming via land, ship and train.

The 2024 Eid Free Homecoming Program was held by the Ministry of Transportation with the aim of anticipating an increase in the number of people planning to go home using private vehicles, especially motorbikes. This program quota includes motorbike transportation services.

Ministry of Transportation’s 2024 Free Homecoming Registration Schedule

Overall, registration for the Ministry of Transportation’s Eid 2024 Free Homecoming program will be open from March 4 2024 to April 18 2024. Registration can be done online via the Department of Transportation website or the Mitra Darat application, as well as offline at the service counter. Bus and Truck Schedule:

Registration date: 5 March 2024-3 April 2024 (via Mitra Darat)
Homecoming departure date: 5 April 2024-7 April 2024
Reverse flow departure dates: April 14 and 15, 2024

Ship Schedule:

Registration date: April 3-17, 2024

Train Schedule:

Registration date: March 4, 2024-April 18, 2024
Homecoming departure date: 2-8 April 2024
Return flow departure date: April 13-19, 2024

Ministry of Transportation Free Homecoming Service Quota 2024

The following are details regarding the registration quota for the Ministry of Transportation’s Free Homecoming program for Eid 2024 for passengers and vehicles via bus/truck, ship and train:

Bus and Truck Quota:

Passenger quota: 30,088 for 700 buses
Vehicle quota: 900 motorbikes for 30 trucks

Sea Vessel Quota:

Passenger quota: 9,800 passengers
Vehicle quota: 4,800 motorbikes

Railway Quota:

Passenger quota: 28,196 passengers
Vehicle quota: 12,180 motorbikes

Ministry of Transportation 2024 Free Homecoming Registration Requirements

Based on information on the Ministry of Transportation’s Free Homecoming page, the following are the conditions for free homecoming by train:

One participant must have KTP, Family Card, SIM C;

Must carry out verification at the post, according to the verification time selected when registering;

Motorcycle with a maximum engine capacity of 200 cc;

For participants who only register motorbikes, they are required to have/show proof of returning home from other modes of transportation;

The motorbike is handed over H-1 or one day before the motorbike’s departure date;

It is not permitted to leave helmets and rearview mirrors;

Fuel must be emptied upon delivery.

How to Register for the Ministry of Transportation’s Free Homecoming 2024

Following are the steps for registering for the Ministry of Transportation’s Free Homecoming program for Eid 2024 which can be done online via the Ministry of Transportation’s official website:

Open the website https://mudikgratis.dephub.go.id/

Select the available transportation mode menu, namely train/ship. (For bus transportation mode, registration via the Mitra Darat application)
Click the “Registration” menu, then fill in the “Registration Form” which includes:
– Origin and destination of travel and homecoming/return date
– Participant personal data information and supporting documents

Next, ticket information will be displayed and participants can review registration data

The registration resume has been successfully saved and registration verification can be carried out
