The National Learning Service (Sena) opened the call for its free virtual careers that are part of the Virtual Titled Offer 2024, which seeks to train technicians and technologists.
There are 52 thousand places that have been made available so that young people and adults can enroll in one of the 37 academic programs, whose classes will begin in a few weeks after completing the selection and enrollment process.

Who can register for Sena virtual races?
As explained by the Sena, Colombians and migrants can access the programs. The latter are required to have permission to stay and study in the country.

Please note that there is no age limit to register for any of the races. Of course, applicants must comply with the conditions of each program.
For example, the 3D Animation technologist requires that the person have a high school diploma, have taken the State Secondary Education Exam, known as Saber 11, and pass an entrance test that will be given after registration.
How to register for Sena 2024 virtual races?
You can review the requirements of the career in which you are interested, as well as the schedules, the total duration and the skills you will develop, on the Sena Sofia Plus page.
This is the step by step to register:
- Go to http://oferta.senasofiaplus.edu.co.
- “What would you like to study?” says one part of the page. Right there is a search bar where you will need to type the name of the program. Example: ‘Multimedia and web development’ or ‘Quality control in industrial clothing’.
- You can also select the ‘Technical careers’ option in the left corner so that the platform shows you the list of programs.
- Once you choose the race, click on ‘See more’ to expand details. Example: This is what it looks like if you select ‘3D Animation’.

- Click on the ‘Registration’ button (this button has been enabled since April 2). Remember that for the process you must have an account on the Sena Sofia Plus platform. If you don’t have one, create one with your identification, residence and contact information.
- Enter your document number and the password of the account you have in Sena Sofia Plus.
- Click on the ‘Confirm registration’ and ‘Finish’ button to make the process official.
The Sena will notify you by email of the steps to follow, among which are the appointment to a knowledge test that you must pass in order to enroll in the chosen program.

Registration for the virtual and free Sena races runs from April 2 to 8, 2024. Throughout the month, selection tests will be carried out to fill the more than 50 thousand available places.
Registration of those selected will take place between April 26 and May 10. Thus, virtual classes will begin on May 14.
The entity has emphasized that its programs are free. To avoid deception, invite applicants to consult the official channels of the Sena or go in person to a headquarters in order to receive advice.
