‘A cleaner transition’: Shannen Doherty prepares for her death by selling her things
Suffering from stage 4 cancer, the 52-year-old actress prefers to take the lead in making labor easier for her mother.

On her podcast “Let’s Be Clear Monday,” Shannen Doherty announced that she was donating her assets to make things easier for her mother, Rosa Doherty, in the event of her death. As a reminder, the 52-year-old actress is fighting stage 4 cancer. Last year, she informed that the disease had spread to the bones.
“I know it’s going to be hard for her,” the “Beverly Hills 90210” star said. Because it will be so hard for her, I want other things to be much easier. I don’t want her to have a bunch of things to deal with. I don’t want her to have four closets full of furniture.”
Although aware of the pain of this process, the actress stressed that she knew it was the right thing to do. “Helping the people you leave behind have a cleaner, easier transition” encouraged her in her decision to part with many possessions.
His last wishes
In her podcast on January 15, she spoke of her last wishes and expressed her wish to be cremated, specifying that she wanted her ashes to be mixed with those of her dog and her father. “The fewer people there will be at my funeral, the better,” she also confided.
