Several people were shot in separate shootings involving a New York subway train in Brooklyn. This was reported by police sources quoted by ABC news. At least 13 people were injured: it is not yet clear whether the shootings took place on the train or at the subway station at 36th street in Sunset Park or at the 25th street station in Greenwood Heights.
The suspect, now wanted by the police, is said to be three to six feet tall, dressed like a subway employee and wearing a gas mask.
Counter-terrorism agents were deployed in the city after the shooting in the subway station. A decision taken as a “precaution”. It is still unclear whether active explosive devices were found around the New York subway area where the shooting took place.
