Singapore’s economy grows by 7.2% in 2021

Statistics show that in the fourth quarter of 2021, Singapore’s economy grew by 5.9% year-on-year, which was lower than the 7.1% increase in the third quarter. In terms of industry, in the fourth quarter of Singapore, the manufacturing industry grew by 14% year-on-year, the construction industry grew by 2%, and the service industry grew by 4.6%. In addition, compared to the third quarter of 2021, Singapore’s economy grew by 2.6% in the fourth quarter, compared with a 1.2% quarter-on-quarter growth in the previous quarter.
