South Africa, President Ramaphosa: “Behind the looting a plan to overthrow me”

There would be a plan behind the violence and looting that have engulfed South Africa in recent days. It would start on July 7, the night the former President of the Republic Jacob Zuma entered jail, and would target the head of Cyril Ramaphosa, his successor. The head of state himself is sure of it and said it bluntly while visiting KwaZulu-Natal, the province where it all began: “It’s very simple, violence and looting have been decided and ordered in time”.
