Rome, 24 April. (beraking latest news) – The fourth edition of Radar, Spotify’s global program created to support emerging talents, arrives in Italy. The artists selected for this edition are: Tony Boy, okgiorgio, Coca Puma, STE, Sally Cruz and centomilacarie. These six artists are the new protagonists of the dedicated Radar Italia editorial playlist and will benefit from special editorial support and a personalized marketing plan. In the three previous editions, artists who quickly became household names for the general public were part of Radar: from Blanco to BigMama, from Ariete to Il Tre, from Rhove to Naska.

Not just promotion on the platform, however. This year, for the first time, Spotify has decided to bring the public to listen to the selected artists live, thus reiterating its constant commitment to introducing artists of all genres to ever new and different listeners. Radar was thus transformed into a live event, the first ever for Spotify in Italy (held in the spaces of Arca Milano), which saw the six artists alternate on stage, presented and interviewed one by one by the content creator Federico Felletti. The six emerging talents selected by Spotify – reports a note – are an expression of the most recent musical trends that are establishing themselves in Italy and reflect the varied musical range that extends from south to north, made up of tradition, innovation and mixtures of genres and experiences . Here’s what’s happening, as seen from Spotify.

“The Radar program fully reflects our mission to make music accessible to all and to offer artists the opportunity to make a living from their art,” commented Melanie Parejo, Head of Music Spotify for Southern Europe. “We have reached the fourth edition of Radar in Italy, aware that the program can significantly contribute to the growth of listeners and fan bases of artists who, day after day, shape the Italian contemporary music scene. This year we brought them for the first time to the public even live and we can’t wait to find out what the future holds for these talented emerging artists”, he concludes.
