Lamia Belošević won the first prize for composition at the 29th International Đurđevdan Festival of Children’s Songs, i.e. Grand prix “Jadranka Stojaković”, for the song “Cloak of Love”, performed by Nikolina Katavić from Zagreb.
The second prize for composition went to composer Danijel Alibabić for the song “Želim” performed by Asja DŽogović from Bijelo Polje, while the third prize went to composer Đorđe Jovančić for the song “Djeca svemira” performed by Tara and Zola Ristić from Sarajevo.
The first prize for interpretation, according to the jury’s assessment, went to Ana Ajduković from Croatia, while the audience prize went to Andrea Jakovljević.
The second prize for interpretation is shared by Asja Džogović from Montenegro and Maša Milovanović from Serbia, and the third by Dijana Ulihnjan from Russia and Tisa Gal from Slovenia.
The prize for the best arrangement was won by Dejan Božović for the song “Želim”, and the prize for the best lyrics was won by Đorđe Jovančić for the song “Djeca svemira”.
Ana Ajduković received the participant jury award, while a special recognition for contribution to children’s musical creativity was awarded to Ana Klepić and Dušan Šestić.
The jury decided between 18 compositions, which were premiered in Banja Luka by performers from Latvia, Russia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year’s 29th International St. George’s Day Children’s Song Festival ended with the presentation of awards tonight.
