Although they reunited in 2022 on their first tour in more than a decade, the group has not shared any new material – beyond a live EP recorded in the nineties and the song “Lipton Witch” in 2014 – since releasing “The Rising Tide” in the year 2000. But it seems that things could change and we could have new material from this truly cult band sooner than we think.
On the group’s networks they have shared a video in which an artist draws what could be the cover of a new release, writing the words “Novum Vetus.” Accompanying the video we can hear an unreleased song that could well have been recorded today, although the band has not given details about it.
In principle, Jeremy Enigk, Dan Hoerner y William Goldsmith they continue in the band, while Nate Mendel would continue in Foo Fighters and would not be part of the possible formation behind the song. In any case, it is good news and we will see what awaits us in the near future.
