Swiss Shrimp website repeatedly shut down – 20 minutes

“We are overwhelmed with inquiries,” says Swiss Shrimp CEO Matthias Laube. After 20 minutes of reporting on Thursday morning that the Rheinfelden company was sitting on over two tons of shrimp without a buyer because of its unexpected breeding success, the company’s website temporarily crashed.

Dozens also signed up for the company’s newsletter, Laube continued. Anyone who thinks that all the shrimp are already gone is mistaken. “You can’t sell two tons of shrimp in a few hours, but we hope that interest continues,” explains Laube.

Even if the company is now getting rid of more of its shrimp, it is still not out of the question to make everyone over the counter. «We don’t let the goods spoil. The rest is made into soup, ravioli or we simply let the shrimp continue to grow,” says CEO Matthias Laube.
