Trans TV Cinema tonight, Friday (16/2), Jonah Hex (2010) will be broadcast at 21.00 WIB. The following is a synopsis of the film Jonah Hex starring Josh Brolin and John Malkovich.
The film Jonah Hex is based on the character of the same name by John Albano and Tony DeZuniga. Jonah Hex is an antihero published by DC Comics.

The story of this film begins when a Confederate soldier named Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) refuses the orders of his commander, Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich), in a battle to burn down a hospital.
Hex was then forced to kill his best friend, Jeb, because he pointed a gun at him. Jeb’s death angered his father, Turnbull.
Turnbull then seeks out Hex for revenge. When he discovered Hex’s location at home, Turnbull immediately attacked and killed Hex’s family in front of the man.

Turnbull is still not satisfied. He then pressed a hot iron to Hex’s face until the man became unconscious.
Hex, who was almost dead, was later found by a group of inland tribesmen. The inland people then performed a ritual to cure Hex.
Jonah Hex is miraculously healed. However, this ritual gave him the ability to talk to dead people. He also intends to take revenge on Turnbull.
In the midst of searching for Turnbull, Hex finds that his former boss has died in a hotel fire. This prevented the fire of revenge that had been raging within Hex from being channeled.
Therefore, Jonah Hex then decided to become an assassin. But he would never have thought that his decisions and abilities would now lead him to the unfinished past.
Jonah Hex was directed by Jimmy Hayward with a script written by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, based on their story with William Farmer.
Apart from Josh Brolin and John Malkovich, Jonah Hex also stars Megan Fox, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett, and Michael Shannon.
This film with a budget of US$47 million premiered on June 18 2010 and is a production of Legendary Pictures and DC Entertainment.
