The film Siksa Kubur will start showing in cinemas on April 11 2024. This is the latest horror film directed by Joko Anwar.

Siksa Kubur is based on a short film entitled Grave Torture which was also directed by Joko Anwar. Faradina Mufti and Reza Rahadian are believed to be the main actors in Siksa Kubur, along with a number of other popular actors.

Synopsis of Torment of the Grave

Little Sita (Widuri Puteri) and Adil (Muzakki Ramdhan), live as harmonious and happy siblings. They grew up in a harmonious family, full of love from their father (Fachri Albar) and mother (Happy Salma).

However, a big event happened to the family when Sita and Adil grew up. Both of his parents died tragically as victims of a suicide bombing.

This tragedy left a big trauma for Sita. The various teachings and advice he received since childhood changed drastically when he faced this incident.

When Sita (Faradina Mufti) grew older, she even became distrustful of religion. He then had a big ambition to find the worst sinner.

He used various methods during the search. After searching many places, Sita finally met the cruelest person ever known.

He then waited day after day until the person died. Sita’s plan continued by preparing herself to be buried in the same grave as the cruelest person.

Sita then asked Adil (Reza Rahadian) for help so she could bury herself next to the body. This reckless action was carried out because Sita wanted to prove that religion was not real and that the torture of the grave did not exist.

However, the decision triggers dire consequences, even for Sita. He has to go through a series of scary events while proving whether or not there is torture in the grave and the truth of religion.
