The Omen franchise continues with the latest horror film entitled The First Omen. The film is a prequel to The Omen (1976) and is the sixth release in the Omen saga.
The First Omen shows the journey to the birth of Damien, the antichrist or child of the devil who is the main villain of the Omen franchise.

Margaret Daino (Nell Tiger Free) is an orphan who wants to continue her life as a nun. He originally lived in America and then moved to Rome because he wanted to serve at the Vizzardeli Orphanage.
Margaret’s arrival was immediately welcomed by Cardinal Lawrence (Bill Nighly), who had looked after her as a child. He was also greeted by Sister Silvia (Sonia Braga), the head of the orphanage, who immediately took him on a tour to meet other nuns and children.
Even so, Margaret did not immediately become a nun there. He had to adapt and get to know the people in the orphanage environment, before finally taking part in ordination.

Margaret’s first days actually went smoothly. He carried out various activities and got to know many nuns and children, all of whom were women.
Margaret’s adaptation process is also easier because her roommate is Luz Valez (Maria Caballero). Luz helps Margaret so she doesn’t feel awkward easily and gets used to it quickly.
However, in between these normal routines, Margaret often experienced terrifying hallucinations. He also repeatedly had unexplained nightmares.
Strange things also happened when he saw a child named Carlita Scianna (Nicole Sorace) who was locked up. Sister Silvia said Carlita was punished for behaving strangely and was called a bad woman.
Until one day, Margaret’s strangeness and suspicion began to reveal clues when she met Father Brennan (Ralph Ineson). Brennan warns Margaret about a conspiracy within the church.
The conspiracy is related to the church’s efforts to give birth to the antichrist, aka the devil’s offspring, who is believed to be the “savior”. He also hopes that Margaret can help him prevent the birth of the child.
