BREAK THE RECORD – Is called Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and it is the most powerful Porsche ever made. The German electric sedan is made in two versions: the “standard” Turbo GT and the variant with the Weissach package, designed specifically for use on the track. At maximum power both cars are able to develop (for a few seconds) up to 1,108 HP. Impressive numbers that have allowed the Taycan Turbo GT Weissach to establish a new record in Laguna Seca (California), in the category reserved for series electric cars, completing a lap in 1:27.87. To the Nürburgring the stopwatch instead stopped at 7:07.55 (26 seconds faster than the Taycan Turbo S).

CARBON IN ABUNDANCE – Compared to the Taycan Turbo S, the new one Porsche Taycan Turbo GT weighs 75 kg less. A result achieved thanks to the massive use of carbon fiber. The latter is used on the pillars, on the external mirror shells and on the inserts of the side skirts. The 21″ light alloy wheels feature raised milled spokes which allow for further weight savings and, at the same time, guarantee effective ventilation of the brakes. The rear of the more extreme Weissach is dominated by a showy one fixed spoiler (on the Turbo GT it is smaller and is adaptive) which guarantees up to 220 kg of downforce.

RACING INTERIORS – The passenger compartment of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT stands out for its racing style: the rim of the sports steering wheel is covered in black technical material (in Porsche they call it Race-Tex) and has a 12 o’clock marking, while the seats have visible carbon fiber and are embroidered with the logo Turbo GT. THE Sports seats Plus they boast 18-way electric adjustment and the Memory package. On the more extreme Weissach, the rear seats have been eliminated to save even more weight (about 70 kg less than the GT) and on the passenger side there is a badge with the Weissach package logo.
