The Greek-Catholic archbishop of Kiev to the Pope: “Arms to Ukraine, we are forced to defend ourselves”

VATICAN CITY – “If you know of other possibilities on how to stop Russian tanks without weapons, we would be very grateful…”. The Greek Catholic Archbishop of Kiev, Sviatoslav Shevchuk, uses irony to endorse the Ukrainian government’s call to send arms to the country. And he does it at the end of three days of meetings in Rome with the Papa and its collaborators, together with other members of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and religious organizations.
