Israel Kills Senior Hamas Commander in Al Shifa Hospital

The Israeli Army confirmed on Thursday that its troops in Gaza had successfully eliminated senior Hamas commander Ra’ad Thabet in the Al Shifa Hospital. Thabet, who was considered one of the group’s ten highest-ranking military commanders, was neutralized by Navy commandos and other security officials as he attempted to flee with other combatants towards the hospital area.

The operation at the Al Shifa Hospital has resulted in the elimination of nearly 200 terrorists who had taken over the facilities, using them as a refuge and preventing proper care for patients. In total, more than 900 suspects have been detained, with 513 confirmed as members of terrorist groups.

The Israeli Defense Forces have extended their attacks to other enemy bases near local hospitals in the Al Amal and Naser areas. Despite criticism from the international community, Israel remains determined to eradicate enemy presence in the region.

On the diplomatic front, negotiations for a ceasefire continue with the involvement of mediators such as the United States, Qatar, and Egypt. Progress has been reported in the talks, with a proposed ceasefire to include an exchange of hostages and the basis for a definitive ceasefire agreement.

As the situation in Gaza remains tense, the international community watches closely for developments in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
