The Real Madrid players immediately surrounded Referee Gil Manzano.
The trigger was that Madrid’s third goal scored by Jude Bellingham’s header in the 90+8 minute was disallowed.
Manzano thought the goal came when time had run out.
Real Madrid did not accept this because they considered that the long whistle sounded when the ball from Brahim Diaz was still in the air, before being headed by Belllingham.
