The Nicaraguan regime releases and expels Bishop Alvarez, who is welcomed to Rome by the Vatican

After over 500 days of detention the Nicaraguan bishop Rolando Alvarez it’s in Rome. The regime of Daniel Ortega released him and expelled him yesterday as part of a negotiation with the Vatican. Together with Alvarez, one of the most critical voices towards the government, another bishop arrived in Rome, Isidoro del Carmen Mora Ortegatwo seminarians and fifteen priests.
