Napoli party half a dozen goals against Sassuolo in continuation Liga Italia. Il Partenopei won 6-1, with strikers Victor Osimhen bikin hat-trick.
Playing at MAPEI Stadium, Thursday (29/2/2024) early morning WIB, Napoli actually fell behind first. Uros Racic gave Sassuolo a 1-0 lead.
However, Napoli went berserk afterwards. Over Amir Rahmani equalizing the position, Osimhen consecutively made a hat-trick and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia score two goals. Napoli won 6-1 at the end of the match.

This result means that Napoli is still in 9th place in the Italian League standings with 40 points. Meanwhile, Sassuolo has not moved from the red zone, namely in 18th place with 20 points from 26 matches.
The Course of the Match
Napoli put pressure on the hosts from the start. In the second minute, Kvaratskhelia spread threats, but his attempt was still blocked.
When Napoli continued to press, Sassuolo actually made a surprise. In the 17th minute, Uros Racic gave the hosts a 1-0 lead with a right foot shot from outside the penalty box.
Napoli gasped and immediately increased the intensity of their attacks. As a result, the equalizer was scored in the 29th minute, through defender Amir Rrahmani. The score is 1-1.
Two minutes later, Napoli took the lead to 2-1. Osimhen opened his scoring account, with a kick following Matteo Politano’s pass.
Napoli then closed the first half with a 3-1 lead, through Osimhen’s second goal. The Nigerian striker got his brace in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, Napoli’s goal spree continued shortly after the break. Victor Osimhen immediately claimed a hat-trick in the 47th minute, this time following Kvaratskhelia’s pass. The score was 4-1.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia then join in writing down his name on the scoreboard. In the 51st minute, the Georgia player’s kick made it 5-1 in favor of the visitors.
Far superior Sassuolo made Napoli relax their pressure a little. Even so, Francesco Calzona’s team still had several opportunities.
Until finally, Napoli’s goal party was closed by Kvaratskhelia. The 23 year old player ensured Napoli won 6-1 with a goal in the 75th minute.
In the remaining time, Napoli can still present several opportunities. Sassuolo himself practically couldn’t do much, and finally gave up by conceding half a dozen goals.
