Napoli put pressure on the hosts from the start. In the second minute, Kvaratskhelia spread threats, but his attempt was still blocked.

Napoli then closed the first half with a 3-1 lead, through Osimhen’s second goal. The Nigerian striker got his brace in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, Napoli’s goal spree continued shortly after the break. Victor Osimhen immediately claimed a hat-trick in the 47th minute, this time following Kvaratskhelia’s pass. The score was 4-1.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia then join in writing down his name on the scoreboard. In the 51st minute, the Georgia player’s kick made it 5-1 in favor of the visitors.

Far superior Sassuolo made Napoli relax their pressure a little. Even so, Francesco Calzona’s team still had several opportunities.

Until finally, Napoli’s goal party was closed by Kvaratskhelia. The 23 year old player ensured Napoli won 6-1 with a goal in the 75th minute.

In the remaining time, Napoli can still present several opportunities. Sassuolo himself practically couldn’t do much, and finally gave up by conceding half a dozen goals.
