The Pope: “Let’s not reduce war to good and bad”

War cannot be reduced to a “Little Red Riding Hood” pattern with “the good guys and the bad guys”. Francis maintains his balanced position on the conflict in Ukraine. So much so that he remembers how, beyond the humanitarian tragedy, there is a situation that must be considered in its complexity. In the Message for the World Day of the Poor, the Pope speaks of a war that “has come to add to the regional wars which in recent years have been reaping death and destruction”.
