Lacquer, leather, latex: The so-called torture ship is setting sail again this year. The big fetish party on Lake Constance on Saturday, June 22nd is expected to attract hundreds of guests again. Boarding in Friedrichshafen is always a spectacle that is watched by lots of onlookers.
The torture ship is organized by the Augsburg agency Zip-Zone, which is already selling tickets for it online. Like last year, the MS Baden, a passenger ship operated by Bodensee-Schiffsbetriebe (BSB), is the location of the event.
Guests pay 75 euros to take part. For an extra 50 euros you can ride on the shuttle bus that takes fetish fans from Munich and Augsburg to Lake Constance. Tickets are usually sold out by the day of the event.
The organizers describe the target group of the Torture Ship as “fetish enthusiasts”. Most wear special outfits, mostly made of latex. And they would just be happy that they can dance in public in this clothing.

The event has been around for many years
The patent and leather event on the lake has been taking place for decades. The event has taken place every year in Friedrichshafen since its premiere in 1997. The torture ship also left during the corona pandemic – albeit under strict conditions and with significantly fewer visitors than usual.

Boarding for the torture ship begins on Saturday, June 22nd at 6 p.m. at the BSB harbor in Friedrichshafen – about an hour earlier than in previous years.
Experience has shown that many spectators come to the harbor to admire the fetish fans. In some years there have been thousands of onlookers. The celebrations continue on the lake until late into the night.
