Cuban Man Stabbed and Assaulted in Camagüey
Cuban Nolasco Reinel Junco Hernández, 24 years old, was the victim of an assault and stabbing in the Villa Mariana neighborhood of Camagüey this week. According to a report from Cuba Time, Hernández was preparing to attend a fifteenth party near the Villa Mariana bakery late at night when he was attacked.
The assailant reportedly dealt several blows to Hernández and managed to steal his cell phone and motorbike. Despite his injuries, Hernández was able to recount the harrowing experience. He had stopped his vehicle near the bakery to call a friend attending the celebration when he was struck from behind. The attacker pushed him out of the vehicle and Hernández realized he had been stabbed.
Struggling to move due to the intense pain, Hernández was assisted by neighbors who took him to the Provincial Hospital. There, doctors treated his injuries and stitched the wound. Hernández described the assailant as a white man with a strong build, but his face was hidden by a hood.
Although Hernández reported the incident to the authorities, he has not received any updates on the case. The investigation is ongoing as Hernández continues to recover from the attack.
