Rain-heavy clouds hang over the Thurtal on this Monday afternoon; on the edge of Märstetten, a red and yellow circus tent stands like a splash of color in the dull scenery. Everyone who wants to say goodbye to Freddy Nock has gathered inside: family and friends, companions and artists, showmen and artists. The death of the Aargau high wire artist became known on February 7th. The ecumenical commemoration ceremony is now taking place in Märstetten. Nock’s father Alfredo ran a tent rental company here for a long time. Nock’s children live here in Thurgau.
