Sean Kirkpatrickthe former director of the Pentagon’s UFO center, revealed in an interview with Guardian of having been a victim of death threats by “conspiracyists” and defamatory campaigns on social media, even ending up forced to call the FBI when a UFO fanatic showed up at his door. “They have threatened me, my wife e my daughter“, said the scientist, who resigned last December, saying he had not received so many threats even “from Russia and China” when he was the deputy director of intelligence for the Strategic Command. Kirkpatrick, in fact, has always maintained that “there is no evidence supporting the existence of “extraterrestrial engineering” or “human biological products” or whatever you want to call them.”
Last week the Pentagon published the first part of a report, which underlines that no evidence of extraterrestrial activity has been found nor have any attempts to hide information on the topic. The document, the result of an investigation commissioned by Congress, proved it wrong decades of speculation on the alleged unidentified flying objects: if there were better data available – this is the summary – most of these cases could be identified and dismissed as an ordinary phenomenon. “It’s a story that pops up every twenty years and is always the same”, fueled by what he defines as “UFO lobby“, explains Kirkpatrick.
