According to RTL, the new searches at the Col de Steige pond this Tuesday morning were held as part of police training.
Seven divers probed this body of water located 7 minutes by car from the site of Lina’s disappearance, specifies the radio website. This pond had not yet been explored until then. In particular, another fishing pond had been destroyed, a few days after the disappearance.
Close a door
The gendarmerie chose to return near the place of the disappearance, along the RD350, to close an additional door in the investigation, the media further confirms.
With a drone
The divers benefited from the support of a surface drone, to provide a so-called “sonar” image, the visibility in this pond being only 30 cm.
