In 2022, the Swedish acting couple Tuva Novotny (44) and Alexander Skarsgård (47) had their first child together.
At the time, the couple were pictured in New York with a pram, seven months after Novotny appeared with a baby bump on the red carpet.
Now she makes her debut
Before the baby news, there had been several romance rumors surrounding the duo for a long time – something neither Novotny nor Skarsgård wanted to comment on at the time. How long they have been lovers is not known.
In an interview with the Swedish weekly Icacuriren Novotny now explains why she keeps her cards close to her chest about her relationship with Skarsgård.

VG mentioned the matter first.
– There is an expression that says: “If you invite to a wedding, you must also invite to a funeral”, says the 44-year-old and continues:
– I have great respect for anyone who manages to be so open and still master life, but I don’t know if I’m strong enough for it.

When the magazine mentions that she is the mother of Skarsgård’s baby, Novotny replies:
– Yes, he must have admitted it.
In 2023, he confirmed the baby news to Entertainment Tonight.

He has also spoken out about the baby news to Swedes The evening paper.
– It feels good. We have a son who is eight months old now. It is going well, although it is quite unusual, he told the Swedish newspaper at the time.
While this is the “Tarzan” star’s first child, Novotny has daughter Ella (17) from a previous relationship.
Finally confirming the rumours
Novotny really became known to Norwegian TV viewers in the series “Dag” from 2010. She has also had roles in the films “Eat Pray Love” and “Fuck Up”.
Skarsgård is known, among other things, for his role in “True Blood”, “The Northman” and “The Legend of Tarzan”. The 47-year-old is the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård (72).
