China News Service, December 28. According to foreign media reports, US White House officials stated that the United States and Russia will hold a security meeting on January 10, 2022 to discuss issues such as increasing tensions in Ukraine.

The White House spokesperson also stated that Russia and NATO will hold talks on January 12. Russian Satellite Network quoted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko as saying that the main topics of the meeting will be Russia’s recommendations on security assurances, including NATO’s non-eastward expansion.

In addition, Russia, the United States and several European countries will also hold an expanded regional meeting on January 13.

The tension between Russia, the United States and NATO has recently continued over the Ukraine issue.
