Video game: Ubisoft reveals a little more about its “Star Wars Outlaws”
The very ambitious new title from the French publisher will be released on August 30.
The highly anticipated “Star Wars Outlaws”, a video game derived from the saga created by George Lucas, will be released on August 30, Ubisoft announced Tuesday by unveiling a trailer.
Produced in collaboration with LucasFilm, “Star Wars Outlaws” immerses the player in the shoes of Kay Vess, an outlaw who evolves within the Empire. Brown square, leather jacket, visible tattoo and pistol at her belt, always accompanied by her faithful galactic animal, Nix, Kay Vess will explore planets, navigating between crime syndicates in order to regain her freedom, according to the website French publisher.
“As you traverse the galaxy, you will encounter a range of criminal syndicates and carry out missions for them, which can have a positive or negative impact on your reputation,” said narrative director Navid Khavari in a statement. .

The action will take place between the events of the films “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”.
Iconic figures from the “Star Wars” universe will make an appearance like Jabba the Hutt on the planet Tatooine or the droid C-3PO, according to the trailer.
Already available for pre-order, “Star Wars Outlaws” will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
