United States, transgender and biracial model for the first time on the cover of “Sports Illustrated”

NEW YORK. True pioneer of inclusiveness through his cover story, Sports Illustrated did it again: a year after hosting in its July 2020 issue – the one that the magazine born in 1954 always dedicates to swimwear – the 24-year-old Brazilian Valentina Sampaio as her first transgender model on the cover, now for the issue to be released in July 2021 chooses the first transgender and biracial model in history.
