USA: Varricchio hosts Italian-American congressmen

The Ambassador of Italy to Washington, Armando Varricchio, hosted in his residence a meeting of the main exponents of the vast and transversal community of congressmen of Italian origin, led by the speaker of the Chamber Nancy Pelosi and the two co-presidents of the delegation parliamentarian Bill Pascrell and Mark Amodei.

The meeting was also attended by the members of the “board” of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF), an association that brings together the most important voices from the world of politics, economics, American culture of Italian origin, which has among its objectives safeguard and promote Italian culture, enhance the role of Italian Americans in the construction of American society and as a bridge to Italy.
