Arsenal take the top Premier League standings temporary. That’s after The Gunners won 2-0 over Luton Town.
Arsenal host Luton at the Emirates Stadium, Thursday (4/4/2024) early morning WIB, in the continuation of the Premier League. The Gunners immediately dominated the game from kick-off.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the 24th minute. An own goal from Daiki Hashioka in the 44th minute doubled their lead.

Luton played more solidly in the second half, making it difficult for Arsenal to create opportunities. But Arsenal was able to keep the opponent from gaining any momentum.
The match ended in victory for Cannon London, who rose to the top of the Premier League standings with 68 points from 30 matches. They passed Liverpool who will only play on Friday (5/4) early morning WIB.
The Course of the Match
Arsenal immediately dominated after kick-off. Kai Havertz’s attempt in the eighth minute still hit.
Other attempts from Arsenal through Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard have not yet threatened Luton’s goal.
GOAL! Arsenal scored a goal in the 24th minute, starting with a mistake from Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu. The ball was snatched by Emile Smith Rowe and passed to Odegaard, who then made a 1-2 pass with Kai Havertz and finished it into the bottom left corner of the goal.
Opportunity from Arsenal in the 34th minute. Smith-Rowe escaped and received Odegaard’s clever pass, but his close-range shot was blocked by goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.
Another threat created by the hosts in the 41st minute. Starting from Ben White’s stab, the ball was passed to Reiss Nelson and passed to Havertz. In a free position, Havertz’s shot was anticipated by the goalkeeper.

Luton threatened back with Ross Barkley’s header in the 94th minute, but it only went over. The match ended without another goal.
