Chelsea advanced to the semifinals Cup FOUR. The Blues escaped after a hard-fought win with a score of 4-2 over 10 players Leicester City.

Nicolas Jackson escaped and had to face the goalkeeper, but was tripped by Callum Doyle. Initially a penalty was awarded, but VAR confirmed the violation occurred just outside the penalty box. The referee also changed Doyle’s yellow card to a red card.

Chelsea increased the pressure. Noni Madueke’s shot from Malo Gusto’s cross was blocked by the goalkeeper.

GOAL! Chelsea’s efforts bore fruit in the 92nd minute. Carney Chukwuemeka made a one-two pass with Palmer, then finished with a shot under goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk’s legs.

GOAL! Chelsea confirmed their victory through Madueke in the 97th minute. He weaved past a number of players and his left foot shot into the top left corner of the goal was beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.

The match ended not long after. Chelsea also secured a place in the FA Cup semifinals.
