Women20, a plan for women’s empowerment and gender equality

In the draft of the final declarations of the G20, the summit that brings together the main economies of the world concluded today in Rome, there is a commitment by the leaders of the twenty countries “to put women and girls, disproportionately affected by the pandemic , at the center of efforts to better rebuild ”. To implement the road map for women’s empowerment and gender equality outlined during the meetings of the Women20 in July, the official working group of the G20 which aims to elaborate proposals on these issues for world leaders, chaired by the statesman Linda Laura Sabbadini.
