The first test flight of Ita, the new company that will take over from Alitalia, took place today. A technical flight, under the supervision of ENAC, this is necessary to obtain the Air Operator Certificate (Coa). Now the technical structures of the National Civil Aviation Authority will make their own assessments and continue the process that should lead to the issue of certifications to the Ita company. Once the license has been obtained, the new airline will put tickets on sale even after Alitalia has canceled its flights from 15 October onwards.
