Green pass at school, what did the principals in Friuli decide? In Udine asked in advance, check with the janitors in Pordenone

by admin

This will be the school year of the Green pass. All school staff, including teachers, will not be able to enter the classroom if they do not present the green certificate. But the problem is not this, but the organization of controls. Common sense would suggest checking the validity of the Green pass of teachers and full-time school collaborators vaccinated only on the first day of school and perhaps keeping a copy of the document in each one’s personal file.

In this way, checks would be limited to unvaccinated people who are not many in the school world. Too bad that common sense has already been overturned by the Privacy Guarantor according to which school leaders cannot ask staff for green passes in paper format. This means that every day the principal or his delegate must check the validity of the green certificates through the QR code. So here’s how they are doing in Udine and Pordenone

The high schools of Udine are already starting to fill up with teachers and students: it is a period of exams for the recovery of educational debts. There is now only a handful of days left for the start of the new school year, which starting from September 1st will be marked by the obligation of a Green pass for staff. The green certification puzzle at school, however, does not yet have a solution: there is confusion about how the checks, which are carried out by school leaders, and little clarity on how the suspensions will take place. Although the Region has released data that bode well for a very high adhesion of school staff to the vaccination campaign, managers can only verify the possession of a valid Green pass, they cannot know the expiration date. This should lead them to check all green certifications daily (the one obtained with a negative swab is only valid for 48 hours) or find staff to delegate this task to.

“It is absolutely unthinkable, there is neither the time nor the human resources to do it. I hope that clarification will come and that Minister Patrizio Bianchi keeps faith with the promises not to leave schools alone “, he affirms Luca Gervasutti, director of the Stellini classical high school, who has in the meantime decided to ask the staff to pass from the presidency to check the pass before 1 September to manage the checks.

Even at the Marinelli scientific high school, they anticipate the times: «I asked that the staff send me the Green pass on a voluntary basis. For now, however, I have obtained excellent feedback despite the fact that a large part of the staff is on vacation. For the first of September I think there will be a framework that will allow targeted checks “, says the manager, Stefano Stefanel.

For the approximately 400 people who work at Isis Malignani, the period of control of the Pass will instead begin on the first of September: «It will be a job that I will do personally and in a methodical way. For the important numbers of checks, it will be spread over four days. Doubts will emerge: there are many reasons why you may not have the Green pass, some have not received it, others will have to present medical documentation “, comments the principal. Andrea Carletti.

The director of the Sello artistic high school will also wait until September 1 and further clarifications to begin the checks, Rossella Rizzattor, and so will the executive of Isis Stringher, Monica Naples, which however does not hide her apprehension: «September 1st is just around the corner. The question had to be resolved first. A solution could be devised similar to that adopted for the verification of mandatory vaccines for children, communicating with the local health authorities. Starting from September 2, however, we will have the eligibility exams that students who want to change schools must undergo: a teacher could arrive on the day of the exam without having the appropriate documentation and I would be in the position of having to immediately find a teacher of the same discipline. to replace it, ”he says.

Janitors in charge of checking the Green pass or swab test of teachers and other employees: every day from September 1st they will check-in as executive delegates in various high schools in Western Friuli. It will happen in Pordenone, Sacile, Brugnera and San Vito al Tagliamento. “This is the provisional solution at the Grigoletti high school: the janitors will check the” green passports “at the entrance to the high school”. The manager Ornella Varin with the deputy Walter Messenger will equip the tablets with the Green pass control application. Yesterday, in the videoconference with the Prefecture of Pordenone, the executives encountered proposals and doubts while waiting for other indications from the Ministry of Education.

“Surgical masks to arrange the desks even two by two, gels and separate entrances for students”. The manager Simonetta Polmonari at Isis Sacile-Brugnera he turned on the organizational machine: first day of lessons on 13 September. “Three people in charge of checking the Green pass of teachers, technicians, administrators, janitors in every seat of Isis Sacile-Brugnera – details the director Polmonari -. The tablets with the app will be provided to the employees who will have to check every morning at the entrance “bureau”. We asked for an additional administrative in the secretary to manage the registered checklist every day ». The so-called anti-Covid staff of janitors and teachers has been authorized by the Ministry of Education and the appointments will arrive in September. «We are organizing ourselves – adds Polmonari – to guarantee, as a year ago, maximum anti-contagion security. Even by staggering students’ entries and exits ».

In San Vito al Tagliamento the manager Vincenzo Tinaglia examines, with the teaching staff, the operational solutions for the “check-in” of the school entrance. «We will load the app for the daily checks at the entrance of Isis Sarpi on the tablets with the help of the collaborating staff – explains Tinaglia -. In the first faculty board in September I will personally verify the Green pass of all employees ».

The manager in Isis Zanussi in Pordenone Giovanni Dalla Torre believes in the word dialogue: also for the Green pass checks. «I hypothesize a period of tolerance from 1st to 16th September when the first bell of the lessons will ring – says Dalla Torre -. In this way, it is hoped that employees who have not yet been vaccinated will be able to repent to avoid any suspension from work ».

The “check-in” of the Green pass every school day takes into account the problem of time: at least an hour to go through all the “green passports” of about one hundred average employees per school. The directors of the Andis association have calculated sixty minutes of verification with the tablets and then the daily lists will be archived to the protocol. “I feel the duty to appeal to the anti-Covid vaccination”. Dalla Torre allo Zanussi encouraged 700 students with a video clip: “I invite everyone – he urges – to get vaccinated: for our common good”.
