Sigi, the company that owns Calcio Catania, has signed the acceptance of the Revenue Agency’s proposal relating to the repayment plan presented by the Rossazzurro club to meet its debt with the Treasury.
The agreement provides for the payment of € 5.7 million in installments over 10 years with a mortgage on the Torre del Grifo sports center, a structure which is already a guarantee for the loan stipulated with the Sports Credit for its construction.
Having completed the transition with the Revenue Agency, Sigi is now waiting to reach an agreement also with the Municipality of Mascalucia to be able to finalize the preliminary contract signed with Joe Tacopina for the transfer of the Rossazzurro club’s share package to the Italian-American lawyer.
