TCL unveiled three new 20 Series smartphones. The trio of mobile devices – TCL 20Pro 5G, TCL 20L + e TCL 20L – joins the existing models TCL 20 5G and TCL 20SE, announced respectively at the end of 2020 and at the beginning of this year.
The visual enhancement found throughout the 20 Series is based on NXTVISION, TCL’s proprietary technology, for a real-time display optimization experience. TCL claims that the colors are more vivid, the details sharper and the contrasts deeper, as well as a high level of eye protection that reduces fatigue from blue light.
The entire Series 20 family has been certified by Google as Android Enterprise Recommended, which establishes common best practices and requirements, supported by a rigorous testing process conducted directly by Google.
TCL 20Pro 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, with an immersive and immersive visual experience thanks to TCL’s brand new NXTVISION 2.0 Intelligent Display technology, powered by Pixelworks. The proprietary second generation technology provides image accuracy and AI visual enhancement is able to recognize different content and scenarios, automatically adjusting color, contrast and sharpness for more accurate calibration. TCL 20Pro 5G also supports HDR10 playback on Netflix.
Independent laboratory DXOMARK recently tested TCL 20Pro 5G and awarded it with a display rating of 89, placing it among the best mobile devices, on par with other significantly higher priced smartphones.
TCL 20Pro 5G has four rear cameras, with Sony IMX main sensor, one ultra-wide, one macro and one depth lens, with optical image stabilization (OIS). Finally, an HDR-enabled 32MP front camera completes the photographic sector, with Backlight Selfie that balances the images in order to improve the light. The data sheet is completed by an internal memory of 256GB and a micro SD capacity up to 1TB.
TCL 20Pro 5G is available in several European countries in Marine Blue and Moondust Gray, at a recommended retail price of 549,90 euro.
Two accessories designed to work specifically with the TCL 20Pro 5G were also announced: a flip cover with a clear edge and the TCL MOVEAUDIO S600 wireless earphones, with Hybrid Active Noise Canceling.
Little brother of TCL 20Pro 5G, TCL 20L + is the first phone with Circular Polarization Display technology certified by TÜV Rheinland, which allows you to see the display perfectly, in natural colors, even when wearing sunglasses – in addition to the same NXTVISION 2.0 technology as its big brother.
TCL 20L + is equipped with a quad 64MP high definition camera, which provides absolute clarity and optimal color reproduction. Thanks to the Backlight Selfie and Super Night modes, you can also capture the best possible light.
The data sheet is completed by a 256GB internal memory and micro SD Card support up to 1TB, while the rear body has more than a million small prismatic crystals that create a bright and reflective surface, which for the company is inspired by the Milky Way.
TCL 20L + will be available in several European markets at a recommended retail price of € 299.90, and will be released in the coming weeks in Milky Way Gray and North Star Blue colors.
TCL 20L, the latest in the 20 Series, has a 6.67-inch screen and TÜV Rheinland-certified circular polarization display technology with a 5000mAh battery. It also features fast charging optimized by the integrated Smart Manager system, which offers optimal performance management.
With TCL 20L, the 48MP NXTVISION quad camera has a wide angle, a macro and a depth lens, for the bokeh effect. It also features a 16MP front camera. A 128GB memory and micro SD Card support up to 1TB complete the equipment.
TCL 20L will be available in the coming weeks at the recommended retail price of 199,90 euro in the colors Luna Blue and Eclipse Black.
