Basilicata, 32 infections and no deaths
In Basilicata, there are 32 new cases of contagion from Sars Cov-2 (all residents), out of a total of 725 molecular swabs, and there are no deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the Basilicata regional task force with the bulletin referring to the last 24 hours. The Lucanians recovered or negativized are 33. The hospitalized in the hospitals of Potenza and Matera are 51 (-2) of which 3 in intensive care while the current positives residing in Basilicata are in all 1,214 (-1).

For the vaccination, 2,778 injections were made yesterday. So far 417,754 Lucanians have received the first dose of the vaccine (75.5 percent) while 367,419 have completed the vaccination cycle (66.4 percent), for a total of 785,173 administrations. The highest percentages are recorded in the age group 70-79 years with 96.4 percent of first doses administered and with 92.1 percent completion of the vaccination cycle.
Tuscany, 334 new cases and 2 deaths
In Tuscany there are 280,734 total cases of Coronavirus positivity, 334 more than yesterday (329 confirmed with molecular swab and 5 by rapid antigen test). New cases are 0.1% more than the previous day’s total. The average age of the 334 new positives today is approximately 42 years (21% are under 20, 23% between 20 and 39, 32% between 40 and 59, 15% between 60 and 79, 9% have 80 years or older). The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 265,886 (94.7% of total cases).
Today in Tuscany 7,945 molecular swabs and 8,809 rapid antigenic swabs were performed, of which 2% were positive. On the other hand, 6,089 subjects tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swab, excluding control swabs), of which 5.5% were positive. The currently positive are 7,720 today, -0.8% compared to yesterday. There are 348 hospitalized (9 fewer than yesterday), of which 49 are in intensive care (2 fewer).
