The Chinese energy crisis threatens to derail the COP26 objectives

China, by far the largest Co2 producer in the world, is experiencing the worst energy crisis in decades. And the timing couldn’t be worse. It is also because of these tensions, in fact, that Beijing has only published part of its updated green transition plan – when Cop26, the decisive United Nations climate summit, is just a few days away.
