Time News After joining the “Quick Hunt” prequel series “InterContinental Hotel”, Mel Gibson signed a contract with the fantasy adventure film “Boys of Summer” directed by David Henry (“Boys of Summer”) and will play a role as one Detective hunting down supernatural creatures.
The film tells the story of a boy (Mason Thames) on Martha’s Vineyard, after his best friend disappeared mysteriously, he began to suspect that there might be strange forces hunting down local children. With the help of an elderly detective (played by Gibson), they soon discover that a witch has recently retreated to their island.
“Boys of Summer” will be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina in December this year, with an undetermined release date.
