CARBONERA. Mourning in Carbonera: Pietro Nardin died. Born in San Biagio in 1938, in times of poverty and hardship, reflecting also the vicissitudes of the Second World War, he started working as a boy.
Crescendo, he took courage in both hands and opened his own garage: Mignagola, it was 1963, a dream that began to come true at a time when, in a country village, few could afford a car. A foresight. Married in the meantime with his wife Irma, he gives birth to two daughters, Monica and Annamaria. His work, thanks to his proven professionalism and the almost maniacal care with which he did the maintenance, takes off.
In 1969 he built “house and shop”, and on March 31st he gave birth to his third son, Mauro, who joined his father and his 5 collaborators in the workshop. Work evolves, automotive technology knows no respite and Pietro passes the baton to his son, who still runs the business.
It is the 90s, Pietro will always remain by his son’s side, knowing when it is time to step back and when it is time to continue bringing his professionalism.
In the meantime he became the grandfather of Chiara Anna and Rocco, three splendid grandchildren. Passionate about football, in the 80s he also gave birth to the local Mignagola football team.
Personality reserved, discreet, always simple and humble despite having created a well-rooted and well-known reality with his own hands. Not surprisingly, a lover of nature and tranquility that he largely preferred to chaos.
In the illness that struck him some time ago, his loved ones could not fail to give him back all the good received, supporting him every day.
