Shot of the kidneys of Piazza Affari coinciding with the positive start of Wall Street. The Ftse Mib index manages to move above 25,000 points (+ 1.04% to 25,036 points), a threshold that has been approached several times in vain in recent weeks. “It will be necessary to wait for at least the overcoming of the previous maximum of 25,113 points reached on 18 May to have a confirmation of the strength of the bullish movement”, points out the study office of FinanzaOnline.

Side to the rally in the markets comes from US macro data: US GDP rose 6.4% in the first quarter, just below the 6.5% growth expected by the consensus. Positive indications especially from the requests for unemployment benefits, which fell to 406,000 from the 444,000 units of the previous week, to the new low since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among the big names in Piazza Affari to do the driving for today’s rally are the titles of the Agnelli galaxy: + 3.66% CNH, + 2.25% Stellantis and + 1.24% Exor. The banking sector is also in the dust with + 2.68% for Unicredit, better than Banco BPM (+ 2.93% to 2.91 euros) which updates the top since March 2018 remaining at the center of the banking risk items. Intesa Sanpaolo also rose well with + 1.98% at € 2.3975.
