Recent research by Legambiente has confirmed that, with climate change, extreme phenomena have increased by 10 times. We have gone from 20 extreme climatic events at the turn of the century to around 200 in the last 4 years.
In short, the wind and rain are the protagonists of our bad weather that has become “tropical for at least 20 years”, in an exaggerated way compared to the pre-climate change era. The response to the increased frequency of these extreme events is therefore climate change, global warming that provides more energy to storm supercells and tornadoes.
Rising temperatures
