Sanremese ever closer to fifth place and access to the playoffs of Serie D, after the 2-1 victory in the away match in Casale Monferrato. The direct clash scheduled for next Sunday in Legnano will probably be decisive, against the team that is following the biancazzurri with only two points behind.
At Natale Palli, on a Sunday with Saharan temperatures, the first half is still very hard fought and at 13 ‘he sees Casale take the lead, with a free kick from Lewandovski, who flies over the barrier and bags. The reaction of the Sanremese is vehement, but many of the attacks crash, throughout the course of the game, on the gloves of a superlative local goalkeeper Drago.
However, the well-deserved draw arrives in the 27th minute, thanks to a diagonal by Gagliardi, on the pitch as a central striker in place of the suspended Lo Bosco (in a Sanremo, however, still decimated by absences).
The decisive goal matures at 10 ‘of the second half and the author is Gagliardi again, on a perfect assist from Convitto. For the rest of the time, the Sanremese manages to avoid any risk and, indeed, goes on several occasions close to the point of 3-1, with Mikhaylovskiy and Gagliardi.
