by admin

Rome, 1 July 2021 – New cases of Coronavirus in Italia (882 against 776 yesterday). This is what emerges from the bulletin today of the Ministry of Health on the epidemiological trend. The data on the new contagion however, they remain good as evidenced by the weekly monitoring of the Gimbe Foundation, which however launches the alert on over 7 million over 60s partially or totally exposed to the risk of serious illness who do not have adequate coverage against the Delta variant because they haven’t received a single dose yet or are waiting for the second one. It’s a cluster linked to this mutation has been traced and isolated a Lanciano (Chieti): 11 people, linked by family ties or close relationships, tested positive for the swab and out of six the Delta variant was detected. And precisely in relation to its diffusion WHO warns about the risk of “a new wave in Europe”.

Summary

“In July we will maintain the administration quota of the 500 thousand doses of vaccines per day”, says the extraordinary commissioner Francesco Figliuolo regarding the request of the Regions to be able to have a greater number of vaccine doses against Covid. “We will have the same doses of RNA vaccines as in June”, but “the problem is linked to the agendas that many Regions have planned before the new CTS prescriptions were released that lead Astrazeneca to be used only for second doses for the over 60s”.

L’Mom, for his part, reassures that all four approved vaccines protect against the Delta variant (obviously Pfizer, Moderna and Astrazeneca need the two doses), as well as underlining that “it is historically proven that heterologous vaccination is effective and has a solid basis scientific “(” Preliminary studies conducted in Germany and Spain indicate that there are no safety risks and that this vaccination is effective “).

And the Green Pass Ue, the green certification that favors travel between the 27 countries. So far “over 200 million have already been generated – said the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen -. We are helping Europeans to recover the freedom they value so much. “

Green pass, the heterologous yellow: “They wrote me that it’s worth one”
