According to the report “Africa data center market size & share analysis” containing the trends for the African telecommunications market to 2029, carried out by the market research company Mordor Intelligence, the size of the African telecommunications market will increase from 740.2 million dollars in 2024 to 1.7 billion in 2029.
It means that African telecoms will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 17.9%. The same report indicates that Nigeria, as of 2021, had a 12.4% share of the African data center market, behind only South Africa (around 63.1%).
