Apple Vision Pro Set to Launch in the US on February 2
Apple has just announced that its highly anticipated Apple Vision Pro will be officially launched in the United States on February 2. This launch marks the debut of what is being hailed as an epoch-making product from the tech giant.
The Apple Vision Pro comes with a starting price of US$3,499 (approximately RM16,275) and will be available for pre-order starting January 19. It boasts a storage capacity of 256GB and will initially only be available through the Apple online store or Apple specialty stores in the US. Additionally, users can purchase Zeiss optical lenses for an extra US$99 (approximately RM460).
In the box, the Apple Vision Pro will come equipped with two headbands, chargers, charging cables, wipes, and other accessories.
The device is powered by an M2 chip and a new R1 chip, with the former responsible for performance and the latter for processing real-time environmental information gathered from the body’s 12 cameras, 5 sensors, and 6 microphones to enhance the user experience.
Positioned as an XR head display, the Apple Vision Pro can be used for a variety of purposes including AR and VR. It also features a new biometric authentication Optic ID unlocking and is expected to be developed for additional uses and functions in the future.
